Police: Man Badly Hurt in Ventnor Attack

Ventnor Police are giving details about an aggravated assault on Tuesday that caused serious injuries to one man.

According to Ventnor Police, they received several 911 calls at 11:16 am on Tuesday, July 15th, about a disturbance at an apartment building at 11 South Nashville Avenue.

Ventnor Police responded along with backup help from Margate City Police and the Atlantic County Sheriff's Department.

Police say they found that an aggravated assault had taken place in an apartment in the building.

Investigation is Ongoing

Police haven't given any details about the reason for the assault or identified the people involved at this point.

They do say that the incident is still under investigation and that they have determined that it was an isolated situation and there is no threat to the community.

One male victim was taken to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Trauma Center in Atlantic City with serious injuries.
