In your mind, you know exactly what the best bagel shop in New Jersey looks like, and years ago, when I walked into Baron's Bagels in Point Pleasant, I knew I had found it.

You know what a great bagel place should look like, should smell like, and you know how nice the staff needs to be, and Baron's checks all the boxes.

The first few times I went in there, it was early morning, and those fresh bagels were some of the best I'd ever tasted, but how good Baron's is hit home the first time I grabbed lunch there.

I walked in, got the warm greeting they always provide, and ordered up a ham, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on an egg bagel. When I opened the container, I knew I had found my favorite lunch spot.

That egg bagel was stuffed with fresh, delicious ingredients and came with some delicious potato salad and a surprise cookie. I was in heaven.

It all starts with a delicious bagel, and Baron's delivers every time. I always go to the Point Pleasant Baron's on Route 88, but they also have one in Brick, also on Route 88.
