This Jersey Shore Ice Cream Shop Is Going Viral For Its St. Patrick’s Day Choco Taco
Sometimes, my social media pages get insanely local, and I love it. Like on TikTok, there are millions of users, and hundreds of millions of videos circulating, and yet I'm able to see someone who made a video about an ice cream shop that's maybe 5 miles away from my house.
And fortunately, this happens from time to time, otherwise I'd have had no idea that Rich's Ice Cream is bringing back the Choco-Taco, or at least their St. Patrick's Day version of this legendary treat.

The History Of The Choco Taco, A Beloved Jersey Shore Treat
If you're not familiar with the Choco Taco, it was a waffle cone, shaped like a taco, and loaded up with fudge and ice cream. The Fudgey-Wudgey guy in Sea Isle City would sell them out of a cooler, and my sister and I loved getting them when we spent long weekends at the shore with our Grandparents. In 2022, the Choco Taco was discontinued.
Rich's Original Is Creating Its Own Version Of The Choco Taco
Now, Rich's Original Ice Cream in Forked River is bringing the Choco Taco back, at least, their own version of it.

Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Rich's introduced the Pot of Gold Taco Loco.
They take a waffle cone, shape it into a taco, and then load it up with their marshmallow cereal ice cream. The video makes you want to leave your house and go get one immediately.
