In my opinion, there are a few sure-fire ways we can tell we're through the worst of winter. For example, when you visit Seaside Heights, you see more and more boardwalk shops open up, or at any beach, you start to see the lifeguard stands come out of storage. Both are signs that warmer days are coming.
Of course, the most noticeable way to tell Spring is on the way is when ice cream shops and Italian Ice shops that typically close over the winter start announcing their opening dates for the new year.
