Football Sundays at the Jersey Shore are my favorite thing ever. It's become a weekly tradition that every Sunday my wife and I go to a bar around the shore to watch the Seahawks and then the Eagles, and this past Sunday, we may have found our new football Sunday go-to.

Now, before we go any further, I have to admit there are a ton of amazing places to watch football around the Shore. When we lived on the island, we'd go to the Sawmill every Sunday without a doubt. There's also JR's on the boardwalk, and they do BINGO while the games are on. It's a blast.

And of course, on the mainland, places like Waterstreet, MJ's in Bayville, and the Boatyard are all known for their gameday fun.

Why The Riverside Tavern In Beachwood, NJ, Is My New Go-To For Football

This past week, though, my wife and I stumbled into the Riverside Tavern in Beachwood, and it may be our new go-to for football Sunday.

I've written about the Riverside Tavern in the past; I think it's one of the better bars off Route 9, but their game day specials really sold me.

The Vibes Were Perfect For A Gameday Bar

Firstly, the atmosphere was great; there was a good vibe, but you could still hold a conversation with the people you were sitting with.

Dollar Wings, $3 Beers, You Can't Beat It!

And secondly, the game day deals were awesome. Dollar wings and $3 domestic beers. I got 8 wings and a beer, and I'll be honest with you, they were some of the best wings I've had in a long time.

The bartenders there are always super friendly too, and that goes a long way, especially when you're going to be sitting at a bar for a few hours watching football. I'd totally recommend you check out Riverside Tavern.
