10 Beautiful Facts About The Island Beach State Park Pelicans

A fun fact that many people don't know about me is that I love pelicans. Believe it or not, I collect pelican paintings, sculptures, and other pelican memorabilia. My love for the bird started when I was living on the beaches of Carolina. I can't really pinpoint why I like them so much, I just think they are unique and that they live a sweet beach life. Pelicans are definitely my spirit animal!

There's something magnificent about seeing pelicans flying around the Jersey Shore. It's rare and it makes many locals smile when they see a flock flying together. Thank's to Jersey Shore local Karen Riley, many were able to see a few flying around Island Beach State Park. It was one of the better Facebook posts that I have seen recently!
