It's amazing how getting outdoors and enjoying nature can make you feel so much better, mentally and physically.

Getting outdoors is one of the simplest and healthiest things New Jerseyans can do. Whether it’s a walk on the beach, time at a local park, or just getting outside in the neighborhood, fresh air and sunshine can help clear your mind, lower stress, and get your body moving.

We’re lucky here in the Garden State because there are so many great places to step outside and enjoy.

Where is New Jersey's Best Natural Attraction To Visit This Summer?

According to a recent article from Moms Who Think, the best natural attraction in the Garden State is located in Ocean County, New Jersey.

"Moms Who Think" chose Island Beach State Park. "The narrow Island Beach State Park, located between the Atlantic Ocean and Barnegat Bay, is about 10 miles long. The 3,000 acres of land, shaped by storms and tides over thousands of years, is almost the same as when it was first described by Henry Hudson, an English explorer, in 1609."

Keep in mind that Island Beach State Park is a very popular place for folks to visit in summer, so get up early and head out so you can grab a spot. Island Beach has limited space, so they will close the park once it gets to capacity.

Check their WEBSITE for more information on the park.
