Howell police revive crash victim

Howell police revive a Middlesex County man found unconscious and unresponsive after crashing his vehicle Sunday afternoon near Howell Road and Route 33, according to authorities.  

Patrolmen Michael Silvani and Thomas Matthews started CPR along with the assistance of witnesses on 57-year-old Eugene Escandon of Port Reading and revived him, police said.

Escandon was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune by Farmingdale-Howell Firs Aid and MONOC Paramedics.

Additional responding units included the Howell Township Police EMS Division and Adelphia Fire Company.
