A car crash in Brick seemingly defied gravity and left a vehicle sitting vertical up against a utility pole.

Police Chief James Riccio tells WOBM News that the driver veered off the road and hit a guy wire attached to the pole.

The Fire Department and the fire Department's technical rescue team then worked together to stabilize the vehicle until it could be safely lowered.

The driver told police that he had been looking at his GPS before leaving the roadway and has since been issued two summonses.
