The Jersey Shore Sandwich Playoffs 2026: Hoagitos in Belmar is Seriously Delicious!

The Jersey Shore Sandwich Playoffs are officially here!

We Jersey Shore people take our sandwiches seriously. Whether it’s a classic hoagie, a loaded sub, a fried chicken sandwich or something completely over-the-top, there’s just something about grabbing a great sandwich and enjoying it down the Shore.

That’s exactly why the Jersey Shore Sandwich Playoffs 2026 are so much fun!

One of my stops was Hoagitos in Belmar, and I have to say… DELICIOUS!

If you want to try one of their OG sandwiches, I highly recommend the Finger Licker. It was absolutely the best and definitely one I would go back for. OMG, the fried chicken sandwich with honey, b&b pickles, so, so good! I loved it!

Hoagitos has plenty of choices, from fried chicken sandwiches and sliders to subs, smash burgers and Jersey favorites like pork roll, egg and cheese. There really is something for everyone.

From the Boardwalk to the Jersey Shore

Hoagitos started as a seasonal food stand on the Asbury Park boardwalk and quickly became a local favorite. Today, they have three locations around the Jersey Shore.

There’s just something special about a Jersey Shore sandwich. Maybe it’s the flavors, the memories or knowing you’re grabbing something delicious before heading to the beach.
