You certainly remember that totally unexpected, extreme storm back in August that dumped over a half foot of rain in Brick and practically wiped out a whole community.

Nearly 6 weeks later many of those people, residents at the Greenbriar community, are still unable to return to their homes.

Today, I spoke to Sue Marticek from Compass 82 (which many of us will remember as the Ocean County Long Term Recovery Group, which was organized after Sandy), and Suzan Fichtner from Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity.

We talked about the ongoing efforts to get the displaced residents of Greenbriar back into their homes by the holidays.
