While fall may have just begun and Christmas is still many weeks away (79 days from when I'm writing this if you're keeping track), but now is the perfect time to think about the U.S. troops who will be away from home this holiday season.

It takes some time to make sure that cards will get to deployed troops in time for Christmas, and this year's deadline to send cards through Operation Christmas Cards is Sunday, December 1st, 2019.

Operation Christmas Cards is run by United Soldiers and Sailors of America, a nonprofit that works to support and advocate for veterans.

If you'd like to send cards to deployed troops, USASOA asks that you send cards in unsealed envelopes to the following address by December 1st, 2019:
