In Ocean County there have been 8,900 positive cases as of Friday afternoon June 5 with Lakewood having the most followed by Toms River and Brick, as reported by the Ocean County Health Department.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Ocean County this week:

  • Friday May 29: 48 new cases reported bringing total to 8,575.
  • Saturday May 30: 74 new cases reported bringing total to 8,649.
  • Sunday May 31: 34 new cases reported bringing total to 8,683.
  • Monday June 1: 33 new cases reported bringing total to 8,716.
  • Tuesday June 2: 55 new cases reported bringing total to 8,771.
  • Wednesday June 3: 37 new cases reported bringing total to 8,808.
  • Thursday June 4: 58 new cases reported bringing total to 8,856.
  • Friday June 5: 34 new cases reported bringing total to 8,900.
  • Cases this week: 373

In Monmouth County there have been 8,493 positive cases as of Friday afternoon June 5 with Middletown having the most cases for a single town followed by Freehold Township and Howell, as reported by Monmouth County Freeholders Tom Arnone and Sue Kiley.

Here is how the daily cases break down for Monmouth County this week:

    • Friday May 29: 48 new cases reported bringing total to 8,175.
    • Saturday May 30: 71 new cases reported bringing total to 8,222.
    • Sunday May 31: 31 new cases reported brining total to 8,253.
    • Monday June 1: 48 new cases reported bringing total to 8,301.
    • Tuesday June 2: 56 new cases reported bringing total to 8,357.
    • Wednesday June 3: 43 new cases reported bringing total to 8,400.
    • Thursday June 4: 55 new cases reported bringing total to 8,455.
    • Friday June 5: 38 new cases reported bringing total to 8,493.
    • Cases this week: 390.
