Help The BlueClaws Win The Best Specialty Jersey Award

It doesn't get much more Jersey than a fat pork roll, egg & cheese sandwich, and while our Lakewood BlueClaws honor the local favorite at Thursday night's game, the jersey design that they'll be wearing is up for Minor League Baseball's "Golden Bobblehead" award for Best Specialty Jersey.

The competition looks stiff this year, with theme night jerseys from the "Wisconsin Brats" (Timber Rattlers (A - Brewers) sporting a lederhosen theme, the Biloxi Shuckers (AA - Brewers) color-explosion Mardi Gras jerseys, and one of the most clever of the bunch - the Brewers' class A Carolina Mudcats paying homage to the parent club as "The Micro Brews".

But while I may personally be biased toward my birthplace Brewers, I'm getting behind my hometown BlueClaws and my favorite Jersey breakfast on this one (it does help that the 'Claws aren't up against any Brewers team in the first round).

So, let's get the BlueClaws into the next round!
