I have a few go-to lunch spots by the office here in Toms River.

There's Capone's if I feel like taking a walk for some pizza. Moe's when I'm in a Moe's mood (which is often), and Wawa.

I was crunched for time today, so Moe's was out, and I had pizza yesterday, so no Capone's. Imagine my surprise then, when I got to the Wawa on Route 37 at Hooper and saw that the store is closed.

It turns out that they're remodeling the whole store.

Most of the gas pumps will remain open during the work, so if you use that Wawa for a fill-up, you're good to go.

But if, like me, it's your go-to for a quick lunch, you'll have to rethink your strategy for a few weeks.

I asked one of the attendants how long the closure will be for, and he told me that October 31st is the target to reopen.
