The Popcorn Park Zoo is open but the shelter is closed due to Covid-19. Please call 609-693-1900 to meet Beay. If you'd like to meet other animals in the shelter, it's real easy to do. Just because they're closed because of the coronavirus it doesn't mean you still can't call ahead and meet any of the animals up for adoption.

Beay can't figure out how he's gone unnoticed for all this time, and neither can we.  He came to us back in June when his family gave him up due to domestic distress in his home.  Beay was never treated badly himself, but he has a mild fear of men until he gets to know them. Once he does, he's your best friend!  He's around 3 1/2 years old and Beay is completely deaf, but this doesn't phase him in any way.  He is very well-behaved, he's sweet, gentle, and fun-loving too.  He loves zooming around our exercise yard after a toy and plops right down on your feet for a treat and some attention. Beay needs a cat-free home, but he's lived with kids and is fine with them, and he's open to meet larger dogs too. Call 609-693-1900 or email: office@ahsppz.org to meet Beay. Popcorn Park Zoo / Rescue Shelter is located at 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ.

Beay's eyes are amazing. Check out his video:
