It's no longer a rumor, it's happening. The Green Lantern and others will be removed from Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey.

Listen, I'm not a fan of roller coasters, well some but not this one. It's a favorite of a lot of Six Flags Great Adventure goers.

But, from what I hear it's the most uncomfortable thing. Everyone that comes off of this roller coaster hurts from it, maybe it's good it's rumored to be removed.

The rumors just a week ago were that Kingda Ka is being removed and now this favorite roller coaster. What's going on?

What ride at Six Flags Great Adventure is rumored to be removed?

The Green Lantern...WOW!

From YouTube user Frontier City Thrills (Could the Green Lantern rollercoaster be removed at Six Flags Great Adventure):

I recently wrote an article about how I'm going to be really sad if my favorite ride is removed because it breaks down all the time, now this?

UPDATE on the Green Lantern being removed from Six Flags Great Adventure

From Jersey Coast Emergency News Facebook page:

So, with all of these rumors, it seems like maybe, now this is just a rumor, that the Green Lantern will be removed and possibly moved to another Six Flags park and Kingda Ka will get an expansion. Maybe?

If you're not familiar with the Green Lantern, it's next to Superman at Great Adventure. It's a stand-up roller coaster and it's a fun one to watch and the kids love this one.

I asked my daughter Abby about the Green Lantern being removed and she said, "OUCH" it always hurts. I've never been on it, but it always looked cool.

There are some really cool roller coasters at Six Flags Great Adventure. I love Nitro, Batman, and I absolutely love-formerly Bizarro and formerly Medusa and now back to Medusa, again.
