Governor Murphy just passed a law in New Jersey that restaurants and bars can deliver your favorite cocktail right to your door.

According to the app.com, "Bill A3966 allows bars and restaurants licensed for alcohol sales to sell and deliver house-made cocktails in sealed containers during the state of emergency. Currently, those businesses can sell alcohol for takeout or delivery only in its original container — like a bottle of wine, a four-pack of beer or a canned cocktail."

Next time you're calling for curbside pick-up or delivery from your favorite restaurant, how about a Martini, Cosmo, or a tasty Margarita, or any of their specialty mixed drinks to wet the palate? You'll be able to pick one of these up, too.

Several liquor stores have already been delivering alcohol for your convenience and safety and many restaurants had been selling packaged goods, but this change is just another great way for bars & restaurants to stay afloat during the shutdown.
