Free Thanksgiving Day Meals in Ocean County, NJ

Thanksgiving is a time for family, love, friends, donations, and a turkey and its fixings.

These places want you to have the most wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, with people donating and donating their time it's such a beautiful thing to see. If you need it, these dinners are here to help.

Thanksgiving means so much to so many. Right now there are lots of people and families that really need everyone's help, according to fulfill.org, did you know one in twelve people in New Jersey is facing hunger? One in ten facing hunger are children, this is so sad.  Right here in Ocean and Monmouth Counties, one in ten are food insecure and one in five are children. This is eye-opening and very scary.

These Thanksgiving dinners are lifesavers for so many. These organizations and the volunteers that help are truly incredible people. There is so much to be thankful for.

OCEAN GATE - Adrian Hall Community Hall, 27 E. Cape May Avenue - Thursday, November 24th, 2022 - Pick Up from 11 am - 1 pm - Sit Down from 1 pm - 3 pm. *Reservations are required, please call 732-288-4706 or 732-687-7546.

FORKED RIVER - Lacey United Methodist Church, 203 W. Lacey Road - Thursday, November 24th, 2022 - 1 pm - Reservations are appreciated but not needed - Any questions about the dinner or volunteering call 609-693-5222.

SEASIDE HEIGHTS - Simon's Soup Kitchen, 168 Grant Avenue - Thursday, November 24th, 2022 - 2 pm - 3 pm - Take-out meals only.
