Foxy! Have You Had Fox in Your Ocean County Neighborhood?

You may not know this but my favorite animal is the fox . I have always loved this animal, but I have never had the opportunity to take a photo of one in the wild. Now I realize our backyard is not “the wild” but what I mean is I have photographed fox, but only in captivity at a zoo/preserve.

Every time I have been close, I just miss getting a photo. Either I see one and don’t have my camera or I have my camera and they run etc. Well this week my wife spotted this beauty and was able to get some photos rather quickly before the fox took of. Yes I am extremely jealous lol but glad she shared these pics with me and now I share with you.

So now I want to ask YOU, do or have you had fox in your neighborhood? It seems that fox are not as unique to our area as maybe years ago and we may have more fox living locally then ever before. However we haven’t had fox in our backyard and we’ve lived here for nearly 30 years…so this is new to us.

If you have had fox encounters we’d love you to share your stories and even pics if you have some. One day I know I will finally be in the right place at the right time and get my own photos but my wife did a really good job without much notice and much time to get these photos to share.
