A former Neptune Township third-grade school teacher and her father are scheduled to be sentenced Thursday for the murder of her ex-husband.


39-year-old Kathleen Dorsett read a tearful account how she helped orchestrate the death of 42-Stephen Moore of Manchester at her Ocean Township home three years ago after dropping off their toddler daughter.

The Dorsett's also confessed to placing Moore's body in the trunk of Thomas Dorsett's car and hiring a former employee to abandon the vehicle in long branch and set it on fire.

According to the Asbury Park Press, Kathleen faces 58 years in prison with 51 years of parole ineligibility and her father Thomas faces 50 years with 30 years of parole ineligibility.

Dorsetts mother Lesley faces eight years for conspiring with her daughter to have Moore's mother killed.
