Fire crews on the scene of National Guard Training Center in Sea Girt

Fire trucks and ambulances from multiple Monmouth County towns were being called to help put out a blaze that erupted this afternoon at the National Guard Training Center in Sea Girt.

Townsquare Media Jersey Shore's Liz Jeressi reported seeing ambulances and emergency vehicles passing through from Manasquan, Spring Lake, Sea Girt and Wall Township.

What caused the fire and other essential details have not yet been released.

Monmouth County Police, Fire and EMS reported the 2 alarm fire.
