Fantastic Jersey Event It’s the Barn Crawl Coming to the Garden State

I am always on the lookout for intriguing events that are happening here in New Jersey. Events you can enjoy that will get you out and about an while your at it have fun, get exercise and learn a few things about our great Garden State.

I came across an event that covers all the bases and its happening in May which is a beautiful time of year here in New Jersey. The event is the NJ Fibershed 2022 Barn Crawl. Eleven New Jersey Farms will be participating in the inaugural event May 14, 15, 21, and 22.

So you may be wondering what is a “barn crawl”? I wondered and as I further investigated its a cool event that you want to be involved in. Local artisans celebrate the fiber arts with spinning, weaving and fiber preparation demonstrations. In addition local artisans will be on hand vending hand-crafted and hand-harvested items including yarn, dye plants, honey, soap, farm produce, and more. Tickets are $5 and free for children under 12.

• Hidden Pastures Luxury Fiber Farm, Branchville NJ

• Lavender Green Farm, Indian Mills NJ
• Middle Brook Fiberworks, Bedminster NJ
• Smiling Dog Farm, Lumberton NJ
• Windswept Sheep, Pittstown NJ
• Windy Farm Alpacas, Chesterfield NJ
