Fall In Love with Cali’s Ears and Wagging Tail
Cali is our Pet of the Week and is ready for her forever home.
Cali is a beautiful, friendly, lovable black and tan coonhound of about 7 years old that is dreaming of becoming a part of your family! Cali had it rough throughout her 7 years. She was over-bred and over-hunted too, and somehow made her way to NJ when her owner no longer had any use for her. She had a temporary home but when Cali and the other dog in the home had a scuffle over dinner, Cali had to go. Cali gets along with dogs but should be fed separately from another dog, as all new dogs should. She is a strong girl but once she gets her excitement out, she walks like a princess on a leash. She sits nicely when asked and is gentle with taking treats, and has proven to be housebroken too. She loves to run and play in our exercise yard, and stops to get some attention from her human friend. Cali will make a wonderful addition to a good family that spoils her silly, as she deserves.
