Ahhhhh TikTok....it has become a glorious social media platform where people can share information, record experiences and learn a trendy dance or two.

But every now and then, I find a video that has my eyes rolling to the back of my head.

This is one of those videos. *Eye Roll*

This TikTok video was posted by user @JoDiddy and the rant is all about....*drum roll please*....New Jersey.

More specifically, this TikToker is sharing her disgust and frustration over the fact that her parents never moved her and her family out of the Garden state.

Just a heads up, Jojo drops a few curse words in the video so don't play the audio if youngsters are in ear shot.

Jojo moans and groans that New Jersey is cold, expensive and depressing - these aren't even her only complaints.  Pshhhh girl please....

The caption is just as insulting: "$ yall wonder why we're so damn rude!!"

......HOLD UP!!! I am a born and raised Jersey Girl so I feel the need to defend my garden state.

So Jojo, why didn't your parents move out of New Jersey? I'm gonna tell you why:

1. "It's Too Expensive" - It is tough to make it here but New Jersey being expensive can actually work in your favor. Expensive real estate means that if your parents own a home, they have quite a bit of equity under their belt. May I also add that real estate values have skyrocketed in the last year or so?

2. "We're Depressing" - Why do people come to New Jersey and why is it expensive? Because this is one of the main locations you come to for major opportunities. You have New York City and Philadelphia within driving distances and opportunities in the Garden State themselves can be worth it all on its own. Trust me...I know from personal experience....

3. "It's Freezing" - This one I will give you. When it is this cold, I am not a happy camper either.

But now the silver lining: NJ has attractions and activities for all weather situations. You can go to the beach during the Summer, pumpkin picking in the Fall, flower picking in the spring and snowboarding or skiing during the winter. And yes, all of these are located pretty close by.

4. "We're Rude" - We're not rude. We are direct and we don't take no crap. This is a Jersey Girl character trait I am happy to have picked up. We move at a fast pace up here and are looking to get things done -- being a push over does not coincide. Sorry if you can't handle the truth but at least you know how us Jersey folks are feeling...whether you asked for it or not.

I could go on for hours on why I think New Jersey deserves a better reputation.

Instead,  I will say that if you are so desperate to get out, then go. The rest of us will hold things down here with our boardwalks, funnel cake and boss bagels all on our own.

And once you leave, I don't want to hear a peep on how bad the pizza is at your new home.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

But seriously, New Jersey and the attitude it gives off is amazing..... don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

If someone is still hassling you...then show them this....

TO ANYONE WHO CALLS NEW JERSEY THE ARMPIT OF THE USA:

LOOK: 50 famous memes and what they mean

With the infinite number of memes scattered across the internet, it's hard to keep track. Just when you've grasped the meaning of one hilarious meme, it has already become old news and replaced by something equally as enigmatic. Online forums like Tumblr, Twitter, 4chan, and Reddit are responsible for a majority of meme infections, and with the constant posting and sharing, finding the source of an original meme is easier said than done. Stacker hunted through internet resources, pop culture publications, and databases like Know Your Meme to find 50 different memes and what they mean. While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can get exhausting, memes in their essence can also bring people closer together—as long as they have internet access.
