Evesham K-9 Spike sniffs out meth at traffic stop
Evesham K-9 Spike is in for some extra treats after helping his police officer friends by sniffing out drugs at a traffic stop on North Maple Avenue on May 5 around 6:30 pm.William Hearn, 54, of Marlton was pulled over for engaging in suspicious activity in the Heritage Development.
K-9 Spike was walked around the exterior of the suspect's vehicle and alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car when he picked up the scent.
Spike sniffed out Methamphetamine and Oxycodone Pills in the car and Hearn was arrested.
Hearn is charged with 3rd degree Possession of Methamphetamine and a 3rd degree Possession of Oxycodone Pills.
He was released on his own recognizance.
