Two Dunkin Donuts articles in one week? Yup, that's totally 2020.

Earlier this week I told you about being able to have your wedding at Dunkin' Donuts, which I honestly thought was going to be the most interesting story about Dunkin' Donuts for at least the week. I was wrong.

Shortly after I posted that article, Dunkin' Donuts unveiled a brand new donut to their collection: the Ghost Pepper Donut. Yes, I know what you are thinking and YES — it actually contains the Ghost Pepper in it.

If you are unaware, the Ghost Pepper — or bhut jolokia — is the hottest pepper on planet Earth. It's 400 times hotter than Tabasco sauce. Yeah… like I said — really hot. In 2004, it was rated 1,041,427 on the Scoville report (which measures spiciness).

"For comparison, Tabasco red pepper sauce rates at 2,500–5,000, and pure capsaicin (the chemical responsible for the pungency of pepper plants) rates at 16,000,000 SHUs. In 2005, New Mexico State University's Chile Pepper Institute in Las Cruces, New Mexico," according to the Chile Pepper Institute.

Even with all that hotness that I listed above, it still looks kinda tasty. If only they added a Ghost Pepper donut with frosting to take the edge off.

It's unknown if the Ghost Pepper Donut will be at all Dunkin' Donuts, but you can bet that if I get my hands on some, there will be a taste test video posted to our social media accounts.

What do you think? Would you try the Ghost Pepper Donut by Dunkin Donuts? Let us know in the comments section below?
