As many of us sit in a post-Halloween sugar haze, an interesting survey came out naming the most popular Halloween candy in each state, and I was pretty surprised by New Jersey's entry on the list.

According to USAToday, over 40,000 people were surveyed in each state to determine which sweet treat reigns supreme in every jurisdiction.

Unsurprisingly, Reese's were popular (both Peanut Butter Cups and Pieces), with 4 states listing the brand as favorites. The most popular was candy corn, with 5 states claiming the sugary bits as top scorers.

But there were a few states with favorites that were a little perplexing (really, Georgia, Pixy Stix are the best you can come up with?).

New Jersey's entry was one that I wouldn't guess, either. According to the survey, the Garden State loves our Sour Patch Kids.
