Is There a Good Fruitcake?

I think the term applies perfectly when it comes to the Christmas tradition of fruitcake, it's a love/hate affair and folks are either on one side of the cake or the other. It appears from our very unscientific survey that there are more "haters" when it comes to the fruity confection for the holidays. So as we can see there isn't a ton of positive feedback when it comes to the infamous fruitcake. Of the feedback, two or three places were mentioned to get a good fruitcake. Shop Rite, QVC, and online at Cullin Street Bakery.

For me I like to toast the fruitcake and butter it, I like it that way. Try it and see if you don't like it too. Toast and butter your slice and it'll make your Christmas snack list. We had a listener call and his wife makes fruitcake french toast, now that's a new one and maybe it's great I will have to try that.
