Coffee Pods Recalled in 10 states Including New Jersey
If you are a coffee drinker, there is a good chance you have a coffee maker that uses "pods" to brew the coffee. This recall is important to review, so you can check if you have this brand at home or in your office.

What Coffee Has Been Recalled?
According to a report from The Independent, "Gimme Coffee, Inc. announced in October that it was voluntarily recalling its Gimme! Decaf de Agua Coffee Pods after it was discovered that the pods contained caffeine. Last week, the FDA elevated the recall to a class II risk classification."
Obviously, coffee drinkers who have issues with caffeine and drink decaffeinated coffee want to check to see if they have this brand because it "may" contain caffeinated coffee.
In addition, "Although the product is safe to drink, customers who have a caffeine sensitivity should be mindful, as the pods may cause a health risk."
The ten states that were part of the recall include:
- New Jersey
- Florida
- Iowa
- Massachusetts
- Maryland
- Missouri
- North Carolina
- New York
- Ohio
- Wisconsin
Customers who have purchased the affected product should either reach out to the manufacturer to arrange a refund or replacement, or bring the coffee pods back to the retailer where they were bought.
