Police report they have arrested a suspect in a horrible shooting incident that recently took place in Jackson Township, New Jersey.

According to a recent Patch article, authorities have arrested a suspect who was involved in an alleged murder case involving a woman from Jackson Township.

Woman Murdered In Jackson Township Shooting Incident

According to Patch, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said, "on Saturday, Shaquille Green, 29, was charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon — all in connection with the death of Toraya Reid, 28, also of Jackson, on Saturday in Jackson Township."

The incident occurred at an apartment complex located on Larson Road in Jackson Township.

According to reports, Ms. Reid was found dead at the Larson Road apartment complex (Paragon Apartment Complex) in Jackson with multiple gunshot wounds. Police responded to the crime scene Saturday night.

Ms. Reid was identified as the sister of NBA player Naz Reid, a professional basketball player who plays with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Green is now being held in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River pending a detention hearing, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
