If You are like me, then maybe you are tired of bouncing up and down Water Street in Downtown Toms River. Coming to work each day I get off at Exit 81 and then proceed to bounce my way down Water Street all the way until I exit at Robbins Street. It's like bounce, smash, and bang pretty much the whole way from the Garden State Parkway ramp to our offices on Robbins. When I leave work it's the same rough ride right back to the Parkway, but hopefully, that's coming to an end.

Now the good news is the project is resuming this week following a delay due to bad weather. This means there will be delays around Downtown Toms River, but let's not complain, it'll mean fantastic new pavement on Water Street and I'm happy about that, they are doing overnight paving so that may help alleviate traffic delays in and around Downtown Toms River. So thanks folks I'm looking forward to this as I commute in and out of Toms River.

According to the Patch, "The paving is scheduled weather permitting. The work is scheduled to be done from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night." Looks like they have been doing the roadway in sections and by the end of this week I would assume it'll be done. I ran into some detours on my way in so for the early morning commuters it could be a bit tricky but they will be done soon if Mother Nature cooperates.
