Coffee and Cereal? Dunkin’ is Making it Happen

Have you ever thought about adding coffee to your cereal? Dunkin' has.

No, I'm not talking about pouring cereal in your bowl and then using coffee instead of milk. Dunkin' announced on their Facebook page that they're introducing Dunkin' x Post Cereal with COFFEE FLAVORS! Check out the post below:

The post says that there will be 2 flavors to choose from: Caramel Macchiato, and Mocha Latte, and that the cereal will be coming to grocery stores late next month! Dunkin' wrote more about the flavors in a press release on their website. Dunkin' says that the Caramel Macchiato cereal will have "crunchy cereal pieces and caramel-swirled marshmallows," and the Mocha Latte cereal will have "a hint of chocolate and latte-swirled marshmallows in honor of its namesake espresso." YUM!

It looks like Post is excited for the collaboration too! In the press release, the Brand Manager of Cereal Partnerships at Post Consumer Brands, spoke about the partnership, saying:

"Dunkin' coffee is a daily ritual for Americans, and we're excited to be partnering with them to indulge their fans' coffee cravings."

Will you be trying Dunkin' x Post Cereal? I am all for this - I have always been a fan of sweet cereals (Reeses Puffs, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, etc), and I LOVE coffee! Caramel Macchiato and Mocha Lattes are two of my favorite kinds of coffees to get. I am actually surprised that coffee-flavored cereal hasn't been made before. Think about all the other coffee-flavored foods there are: ice cream, cakes, jelly beans, I've even seen coffee-flavored beers before! It's about time that coffee-flavored cereal made it's way to the scene.
