It was a cold but festive night in Downtown Toms River on Friday night when the Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District held its annual tree lighting. Residents and Dignitaries were treated to entertainment and the arrival of Mr and Mrs Claus.

The beautiful tree in the Toms River Municipal Complex courtyard looked fantastic as Toms River Mayor Danial Rodrick lighted the lights to welcome the holiday season in Toms River.

Santa and Mrs. Claus were escorted by Toms River Fire Company Number One and the children were delighted to see them arrive and to get photos with Santa.
