Causeway Is More Than A Car Dealership…They Care!
As you are no doubt aware from listening to this segment over the years the Causeway Family of Dealerships has been our exclusive sponsor for some time. It is a partnership that I truly welcome and makes it easy for me to talk about them in glowing terms as me, my wife, my son and daughter are all very satisfied Causeway customers.
You also might know that they have multiple dealerships on Route 72 in Manahawkin featuring Ford, Lincoln, Hyundai, Nissan and Honda going back to 1969 when David C. Wintrode opened Causeway Ford which at that time was on Bay Avenue. Those especially living in the southern part of the country are aware of the impact Causeway has made in the community through their many philanthropic efforts. Those efforts have expanded in recent years, so much so that that they established Causeway CARes in 2004 to offer resources and support to various nonprofit, local and community-based organizations throughout all of Ocean County. Funded by the Wintrode Family Foundation Causeway CARes last month received the prestigious Community Leadership Award at Fulfill’s 40th Anniversary Gala.
This past Sunday they hosted their 7th Annual 5K run and walk at Southern Regional High School and with the help of spectacular weather and great sponsors it was by far the most successful ever. A total of $90,000 was raised with both Fulfill and Project Home Repair to receive $45,000 to help fight food insecurity and provide needed repairs for safe and healthy housing.
Congratulations also go to all who ran and walked, especially overall winners Davies Adepoju and Janissa Delzo. A special pat on the back to Joe Stroffolino who is the Director of Advertising and Marketing for the Causeway Family of Dealerships and also the Vice-Chair of Fulfill. Well done!
