Car Accident detouring traffic on New Hampshire Avenue

Traffic is being detoured along New Hampshire avenue in Lakewood Township this morning following a car accident near the 'Astor Chocolate' building.

Police tell WOBM news one person complained of neck, head and back pain while another complained of a head and hand injury following the accident that occurred around 6:45 am in front of 615 New Hampshire Avenue.

"Extrication was called out due to extensive damage to one of the vehicles but it is unclear if they rendered any services," Lt. Greg Staffordsmith confirmed.

The accident remains under investigation by Lakewood Police.
