Investigators say a Long Beach homeowner paid Brian S. Dendall to do work on his home but he failed to begin.

As a result of a police investigation, authorities established probable cause to arrest Dendall for theft counts including failure to make required disposition, failure to register with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, failure to display the registration number on the contract and failure to display the cancellation notice on the contract.

After turning himself in Dendall was later released.
