Brick Stabbing Suspect Sought
A surveillance camera got a clear look at the suspect sought by Brick Township police in connection with a Saturday stabbing incident. If he looks familiar to you, they'd like you to reach them.
The owner of the house near Stephan and Burnt Tavern Roads confronted the alleged attacker at 4:00 PM and was stabbed in the leg, police said. The type of weapon used remains unclear.
Also unclear is whether any relationship exists between the suspect and the victim. The video attached to this story shows the suspect carrying a plastic bag and apparently pressing a doorbell buzzer to gain entry to the house.
The suspect took off in a dark, medium-sized sports utility vehicle with white or chrome accenting the lower portion, bearing New Jersey license plates, authorities said. A partial reading of the plates is Y8L.
The man they seek is described as white, in his late 20s, between 5'7" and 5'9" in height and with a thin build. Police did not offer details regarding the severity of the victim's injuries or current status.
