Brick Schools Came Together in a Big Way To Help
Thanks for opening up your hearts Brick Schools! To all the students, parents, faculty, you really helped, AWESOME job!
According to the patch, this story is incredible. Kids, adults, and everyone helped out. With the two hurricanes leaving Texas and Florida in a horrible state, Brick schools came together and did something about it.
Brick Township partnered with OnCourse Systems for Education and shared the "Fill the Bus" initiative with Brick's Elementary Schools. Families sent in bags and boxes of essential items.
The Schools that were involved in Brick Township:
Emma Havens Elementary David Kasyan, Principal
Drum Point Elementary Colleen Kerr, Principal
Herbertsville Elementary Bonnie Giles, Principal
Lanes Mill Elementary Jeffrey Luckenbach, Principal
Midstreams Elementary John Billen, Principal
Osbornville Elementary Kathleen DiGrigoli, Principal
Warren H. Wolf Elementary Theresa Goodfellow, Principal
Veterans Memorial Elementary Lynn Coddington, Interim Principal
All items will be sent to the South - Texas and Florida - in the hopes of helping out families struggling with the disaster from both Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Harvey.
Way to go gang, I'm so proud of you all!
