Brick Police looking for witnesses of crash that threw motorcycle rider off his bike
An investigation is ongoing into a crash in Brick Township that sent the driver of a motorcycle to the hospital.

Brick Police said that they responded around 3:13 pm to the area of Beaverson Boulevard at the intersection Old Toms River Road to assess the accident scene involving a motorcycle.
Their preliminary investigation learned that 26-year old Lukas August of Brick was heading west in the right lane of Beaverson Boulevard heading towards Old Toms River Road and when he tried turning left onto that street he struck a 2018 GMC Terrain in the right front wheel area and was thrown from his motorcycle.
The Terrain was being driven by 70-year old Lucy Marie Cramer-Haplin of Lakewood who had been heading east on Beaverson Boulevard and was in the left turn lane at the Old Toms River Road intersection at the time of the accident.
She was trying to turn left onto Old Toms River Road when the collision occurred.
August was brought to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
The investigation into the collision is being conducted by Brick Township Police Department Traffic Safety Unit and Ptl. Daniel Fogarty.
