Brick man found with crack-cocaine, xanax at traffic stop
A Brick Township man is in the Ocean County Jail following his arrest for possession of 11-grams of crack-cocaine, 6 xanax pills, a digital scale and $570.00 in cash at a traffic stop along Fairfield Avenue and Lynwood Avenue.
Brick Police Chief James Riccio announced the arrest of 28-year old Demetrius Baynard who was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the stop by the BTPD Street Crimes Unit.
The driver was given a warning for their motor vehicle violations.
Baynard is charged with possession of crack, possession of Xanax, possession of crack with the intent to distribute, possession of Xanax with the intent to distribute, and possession of paraphernalia.
His charges were issued on a warrant and he was lodged in the Ocean County Jail.
