Brick man drops bag of heroin when questioned by Ocean Township Police
A Brick Township man allegedly standing in the shoulder close to the lane of traffic along State Highway 18 Wednesday June 13 drew the attention of an Ocean Township Police Officer who later found him with heroin.
The officer responding to the call of a man standing on 18 found 51-year old Charles Curto hanging around exit 10 all by himself.
She asked for his I-D and while he was grabbing that, a wax fold pocket of heroin popped out.
Curto was immediately placed under arrest and transported to the station.
He was in possession of an additional 30 wax fold packets of heroin along with the prescription drug, Suboxone.
Curto was charged with being in possession of heroin and possession of a prescription drug and processed and released on a criminal summons pending a future court appearance.
