Edward Ramirez, 51, Brick, was arrested in connection with the discovery of the body of Jamie Leis, 35, who was found dead near Brighton Avenue and Rockefeller Drive in Wall on May 17.

Ramirez has been charged with Disturbing Human Remains.

Wall Police respond to the initial call around 10:29 am on the 17th and found the body of Leis wrapped in tarp and immediately called the MCPO for backup.

Investigators didn't see any visible injuries to Leis but authorities are still awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine how and why she died.
