Ocean County Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates, P.C. just opened a new location in Brick at 194 Jack Martin Blvd, Unit 1A. One of six convenient facilities, the Brick office is part of the Ocean Medical Park Complex.

Dr. Matthew Modugno is one of the highly skilled physicians that treats patients at the Brick location. According to his professional biography, Dr. Modugno graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and served as a resident for three years, including a year as chief resident, in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Main Line Health System near Philadelphia.

Dr. Modugno specializes in “trauma and reconstruction of the foot and ankle," and he also is trained in:

• Elective forefoot and rearfoot surgical techniques
• Diabetic limb salvage
• Wound care

I recently got to meet Dr. Modugno, and I can tell you he's a local guy who enjoys being part of the community and is easy to talk with. When I toured the new office, I was impressed with how professional it looks while maintaining a smaller, intimate feel.
