Breaking News: There is one escapee from Delaney Hall in Newark, out of 4 who escaped, that is still left at large as the manhunt continues.
According to AP News, Franklin Norberto Bautista‑Reyes was located and arrested today (6/17/25), while his accomplice, Andres Felipe Pineda‑Mogollon, remained at large. All four escapees originally broke out by cutting through an aluminum wall and fleeing via the parking lot. The escape involved dramatic methods—smashing through walls, using bedsheets to clear barbed wire—and was of federal-level concern.
A $25,000 reward is still on the table as the manhunt continues with information leading to the arrest of Andres Felipe Pineda‑Mogollon.
If You See Him:
- Do NOT approach – may be dangerous.
- Call 911 immediately or the FBI Newark at (973) 792‑3000 or the ICE tipline.

The escape occurred on the night of June 12, 2025, during a period of reported unrest at the facility. Pineda‑Mogollon, a 25-year-old Colombian national, was among four detainees who broke through an interior wall and fled through the parking lot.
In addition, before his detention, Pineda‑Mogollon had been arrested in New York City for petit larceny in April 2025 and in Union, New Jersey, for residential burglary, conspiracy, and possession of burglary tools in May 2025.
