Bradley Beach Lifeguard Rescued
A Bradley Beach lifeguard was rescued Thursday afternoon by fellow beach patrol members when he was knocked from a paddle board by a wave sending him to the ocean floor.
According to the Asbury Park Press, the unidentified 24-year-old was paddling with another lifeguard off of Second Avenue Beach at around 4 p.m. when the incident occurred.
He was retrieved when he was spotted face-down in the water and transported to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center with head and neck injuries.
