TV’s Landman, Billy Bob Thornton, Spotted Filming In New Jersey
One of my favorite shows now streaming is Landman on Paramount +. It's all about the world of oil and oil drilling in Texas. It's a fantastic series that has everything. Drama, action, love, and even comedy at times. The show has an all-star cast, which is led by veteran actor Billy Bob Thornton.

Billy Bob Thornton is the "Landman," and he is excellent in the role of a land management supervisor for big oil companies in Texas.
Landman is a drama series on Paramount+ created by Taylor Sheridan, inspired by real-life stories from the Boomtown podcast about the modern oil rush in West Texas. It premiered in late 2024 and stars Billy Bob Thornton as a tough, no-nonsense landman whose job is to cut deals, solve problems, and keep the oil business moving, often in messy, high-pressure situations.
Thanks to strong ratings and buzz around Thornton’s performance, the series was renewed for additional seasons and continues to grow as part of Sheridan’s lineup of gritty, modern American dramas.
