We knew this would be happening with a popular big box store, we heard rumors but I don't think I wanted to believe it. But, it looks like it's happening for sure now. In a recent article from axis.com, Big Lots is CLOSING all stores.

Big Lots located at 2353 on Route 66 in Ocean Township, NJ
Big Lots located at 220 Trotters Way in Freehold, NJ
There are two Big Lots locations in Ocean County. One is in Toms River, the store I go into a lot. The other one is in Barnegat.

If you've never been a Big Lots store, they have everything. Furniture, rugs, decorative pieces, holiday items, food items, kids stuff, toys, etc.
Big Lots was founded in 1967.
