Bicyclist hospitalized after being struck by a car in Marlboro
A bicyclist needed to the brought to the hospital after being hit by a car near Wyncrest Road and School Road West in Marlboro Tuesday morning around 7:39 am.
Police say a 2017 Silver Lexus impacted a bicyclist at the intersection of Wyncrest Road and School Road West.
The bicyclist was then brought by Marlboro First Aid to Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel for an examination and treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by Patrolman David Stattel of the Marlboro Township Police Traffic and Safety Bureau.
Wyncrest Road was closed to traffic in one direction for about 20 minutes during the accident investigation.
