Beloved Ocean County, NJ Business to Be Demolished for Storage Units
There are many reasons why this business will be missed.
Not only have they been a staple of the community for many years, but there aren't a lot of places left to shop this way anymore.
I don't know about you, but I'm very particular about my produce.
Yes, I'm that guy inspecting every piece before I put it in the cart.
Grocery stores are hit and miss, but farmer's markets almost always have the best of the best.
Whether it's fruits and vegetables, plants, flowers, or shrubs, every town needs a good farmers' market.
Sadly, I learned that a legendary market is being knocked down at the end of the year for...storage units. Ugh.
If you regularly travel Brick Boulevard, you know this sign well. It's almost like a landmark.
Berry Fresh Farms has been sold and will be closing at the end of the year.
After that time, the land will be cleared for more storage units.
Just what we need, more storage units. We all certainly have a ton of stuff.
This is a bummer because it's another local business that is going away. Now, if this was the decision of the owner and it's a good deal, congratulations and thank you!

They were consistently voted one of the best haunts in New Jersey year after year.
After Halloween passed, Berry Fresh Farms was always where I got my Christmas tree.

According to APP.com, the self-storage building would cause less traffic on Brick Boulevard than the farmers' market.
Really? I never noticed a jam-up before. Also, we're talking about Brick Boulevard. There's never a smooth and traffic-free second on that road. Nice try CD Development Management.
